Cookies and storage

What Studio5 stores

Studio5 does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It keeps a few small items in your browser's storage (in the apps, on your device) so it remembers your choices:

• Sign-in: keeps you signed in on this device. Removed when you sign out.
• Theme: dark or light.
• Player choices: shuffle, repeat and playback speed.
• Where you left off: the queue and position, so a refresh or a later visit carries on.
• Recently played: the titles you played last, shown on Home and in the Library.
• Recent searches: shown on the Search page.

All of these stay on your device. Studio5 reads only the sign-in item.

Set by others

• A security cookie may be set to tell people from bots and protect the site.
• The YouTube player sets its own cookies when you choose to watch a video, under the Google Privacy Policy.

Clearing it

Use Clear history in the Library and on the Search page, sign out, or clear site data in your browser settings. Studio5 keeps working; it just forgets your choices.
